Association For Women In Science New Jersey High School STEM awards and scholarships are offered annually. Female high school seniors and juniors, residing anywhere in the state and interested in STEM can apply. Applicants are asked to write an essay on a STEM professional with a NJ connection (female). Academic performance and teacher recommendations are also evaluated.

At Bricks 4 Kidz, we learn, we build, and we play with LEGO® Bricks! We use LEGO® products to provide a fun, hands-on learning and building experience focused on STEM concepts. The goal of Bricks 4 Kidz is to provide a learning experience for children that encourages critical thinking, creativity, organizational skills, problem-solving, and teamwork.
The Center for Excellence in STEM Education at TCNJ brings together a multidisciplinary team of educators, researchers, and practitioners. The Center promotes inquiry and design-based learning to engage learners in the understanding and application of mathematical, scientific, and technology/engineering concepts and principles. It functions as a school service center, a demonstration and professional development center for teachers, a product development center, and a community resource.
The program is being sponsored by the Department of Defense STEM Outreach Office at Picatinny Arsenal in Wharton, NJ. "We wanted to support summer learning, and since DimensionU's games align with New Jersey's standards, they were perfect," said Steven Hoy, CEO of DimensionU, in a press release. "When schools had to transition to distance learning during COVID-19, it created achievement gaps. And since in-person enrichment activities aren't being held this summer, these games will help keep those gaps from widening."
STEM Academy
The NJ SIM Foundation offers teachers and educators the opportunity to submit a mini grant request totaling a maximum amount of $1000 towards projects that inspire Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) learning.

LIVE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The STEM and civics focus provide a unique formula to inspire students to excel academically and to understand the tenets of productive citizenship. Throughout our country's history, understanding the benefits of STEM-related concepts has improved the quality of life of citizens. For example, understanding the importance of wearing seat belts in cars and recognizing the dangers of smoking were necessary but not sufficient to improve, if not lengthen, lives. It took the democratic process, which led to the enacting of laws and regulations, to underscore the importance of taking action once knowing the results of the scientific research.

STEM Graduate Programs
The rigorous Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering (STEM) programs at NJ county vocational-technical schools give high school students the tools they need to jump-start careers in all sectors of the 21st century economy. Many of our schools offer specialized programs and career academies that enable talented high school students to pursue college-level STEM studies. Thanks to partnerships with cutting-edge research companies and colleges and universities, students experience real-world internships and earn college credits – and in some programs, associate’s degrees – while still in high school.
The South Jersey STEM & Innovation Partnership (SJSIP) is a community of collaborative partners to improve STEM education and career pathways across southern New Jersey. Our growing community includes collaborators representing industry, post-secondary education, K-12 schools, philanthropy, small businesses and STEM-rich organizations engaged under a common vision for STEM.

The New Jersey STEM Innovation Fellowship is an exciting new teacher-leadership program initially open to experienced elementary teachers working in New Jersey Public schools. Teachers accepted to the fellowship will receive a $5,000 stipend and join a supportive learning community where they will learn about an innovative, research-based math teaching practice alongside talented teachers from other New Jersey districts and schools.
The Office of STEM strives to improve access to quality science, technology, engineering, and math education for all students. The office also provides leadership in the development and implementation of progressive policies and practices that assist local educational agencies (LEAs) to systemically and effectively implement STEM education throughout all learning environments so that students can construct and demonstrate their knowledge.

Our Mission JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math ("STEM") education to pre-teen and teenage girls and underserved children in New Jersey.
